Our Ministries

Ranging from homeless children to prison cells.

Beyond the Children's Home

A Ministry Without Borders

out of Ashes is not limited to rescuing children and providing medical care but also reach out to those in prison.

Prison Ministry

Bringing Hope Behind Bars

Our prison ministry team visits correctional facilities across Trans-Nzoia County, bringing the Gospel, Bibles, and practical support to incarcerated men and women. We believe in rehabilitation, dignity, and second chances.

The programme includes weekly Bible studies, discipleship groups, and vocational training to equip prisoners for reintegration into society. Many have given their lives to Christ through this ministry — and several have become community leaders after release.

Clean Water

Repairing Wells, Saving Lives

Access to clean water remains one of the greatest crises in rural Kenya. Our well repair programme restores broken and unmaintained boreholes — bringing safe drinking water back to communities that previously had to rely on contaminated rivers and muddy streams, sources that cause disease, childhood death, and hours of wasted time each day.

Each repaired borehole transforms an entire community. Women are freed from dangerous water collection journeys. Children stop missing school. Disease rates drop. Hope rises.

Food Distribution

No One Should Go Hungry

During seasons of drought, economic hardship, or crisis, Out of the Ashes Kenya mobilises food distribution across our region. We partner with local churches and community leaders to identify the most vulnerable households and deliver essential food packages.

A food package — containing maize flour, beans, cooking oil, and salt — provides a family with nutrition for approximately two weeks. Every distribution is paired with prayer and community encouragement.
